Buffalo Chicken Skillet Dip Recipe

The Super Bowl is every year, but that doesn’t mean we can't still enjoy  any time, a spicy, cheesy and creamy dip with my tortilla chips, crackers, pita bread pieces, etc., the next time I’m snacking alone or entertaining company. There’s never a bad time for dip, really!

This is still the case just when, after buying so much food to eat during the big game and then unintentionally overdoing it on chicken wings shortly before kickoff, Don't make your whip dip ingredients (or tortilla chips!) to go to waste.

And in under 30 minutes, You can whip up this dip to enjoy and I for a late-afternoon snack that was so quick, easy and delicious. You can be making another batch very, very soon.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

8 SERVINGS:

  • 2 cups rotisserie chicken, shredded or cubed
  • ½ cup buffalo sauce or hot sauce of your choosing
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • 3 teaspoons dry ranch seasoning mix
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cups mild cheddar cheese, shredded
  • ¼ cup blue cheese crumbles (optional for topping)
  • Thinly chopped celery (optional for garnish)

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. In a large bowl, combine the chicken, buffalo sauce, cream cheese, ranch seasoning mix, sour cream, and shredded cheese. Stir well to combine.

2. Pour the mixture into an oven-safe skillet. "Carico Ultra tech  11-inch Fry/Saute Skillet.  Transfer the skillet to the oven and cook for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is hot and bubbly. Stir well before serving. Remember 350°F.

3. Sprinkle the dip with blue cheese crumbles and celery (optional). Serve hot with your snack of choice.

Of course, you can adjust the ingredients based on your sensitivity to heat or personal preferences. Do you like your dip pretty spicy, for example- Add more hot sauce. But, if you  like it a little more mild- so when making it you can use your  own version I might incorporate more sour cream or shredded cheese to tone down the spicy levels.

But there’s really no wrong way to make this one- and it’s appropriate year-round and for any occasion – so don’t be afraid to get creative.

Just  to remind yourself  to whip some up during next year’s Super Bowl before I dive into the chicken wings! YUMMY!
